March 17, 2021 -- PerkinElmer subsidiary Euroimmun has released EuroPattern Microscope Live, a compact immunofluorescence microscope available with the fourth generation of its EuroLabOffice 4.0 laboratory management software.

The combination of the new microscope and the software allows for fast, automated immunofluorescence image acquisition, pattern recognition and titer estimation, the company said; indirect immunofluorescence tests are used to identify antinuclear antibodies and antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibodies leveraging deep-learning algorithms.

EuroPattern Microscope Live can acquire and interpret immunofluorescence images in less than two seconds per image, according to the firm. The microscope also provides automation solutions for enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays, chemiluminescence immunoassays, immunoblots, and molecular assays.
