Tuberculosis Database www.tbdb.org/ Rating: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() For people working in tuberculosis, this is an excellent source of information. The website is maintained by Broad institute and Stanford University, and sponsored by The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Right on the home page, there is a column called Quick Search. When you query for a particular protein/gene, it shows the results in a new window, where you can see how many genes are coding the query, operons and so on. Each of the results is hyperlinked. One can also download the dataset in .csv and .zip formats, which will be very useful for people doing comparison works. Apart from this feature, the other sections have interesting information like the sequencing groups and expression groups with their contact details, tools for analyzing and comparing the genome etc., The user can also submit the expression profile data from their studies. Overall, this is a good site for people working on TB. Review by technocrat [ Back to Link Categories ] [ To Database Categories ] |
